Russians are building another hydro power plant in Leskovac

Belgrade-based Elektrorazvoj , whose founders are Russians is interested in building another hydro power plant in Leskovac area of 800 KwH at the Vucjanka, above water intake of the old electric power plant.

Company head, Zura Merabisvili and assistant mayor of Leskovac, Milan Milenkovic, signed memorandum of understanding and earlier similar document was signed with the same company with respect to construction of the electric power plant at the Barje system of 300 kw.

Merabisvili said that the electric power plant at Vucjanka would have 800 KWh so that approximately EUR 2m would be spent on this greenfield investment.

Elaborate has already been done so procedures for obtaining various permits and consents will follow.
