"Masinoprojekt kopring" to carry out major part of the works on Nikola Tesla airport - Investment cycle totaling EUR 20 m started


At Belgrade’s airport "Nikola Tesla", the works totaling EUR 20 m have started and the most important project, superstructure of Finger hall C was entrusted to "Masinoprojekt kopring", it was communicated today at the meeting in the Serbian Chamber of Commerce. The project totaling EUR 15,2 m implies construction of new facility on 11.000 m2, for which preliminary solution has already been completed and start of works are expected by the end of the year.
Apart from this, as we have previously reported, the construction
of the Platform for defrost and frost prevention was planned and it refers to
expansion of platform and maneuver areas. This investment would, as Marko
Markovic, the assistant head for investments at the airport, said should provide
savings in time of 12 minutes per airline operation. Development of preliminary
design has been in progress and the works should end by the end of 2016.
For the construction of the Official passage D, tender ended and a contractor should
be selected by the end of the week.
Rehabilitation of Terminal 1, totaling approximately EUR 2 m has already
started and as reconstruction was planned in three stages, the works are
expected to end by the end of 2015, or early 2016.
