Access road to Pupin's bridge opens for traffic


(Illustration) The access road for the Pupin’s bridge from Ovca to Pancevo road was open for traffic on Sunday, December 2015 in the presence of president of the Government fo Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic.
Together with guests and media representatives, he crossed the bridge Mihajlo Pupin and access roads of a so-called North tangent, by bus.
The opening of access road ended entire project
of bridge construction with access roads 21 km
long.
With the completion
of entire access road on bridge, transit will relocate from the center of
Belgrade and it will, with three traffic lanes each, connect Belgrade in the direction
from Zrenjaninski put to Pancevacki put.
So-called North tangent, from T6 road to Pancevacki put is an access road to Pupin’s bridge across the Danube, between Borca and Zemun.
The bridge between Zemun and Borca was opened for traffic in December last year.
