Posta Srbije and Toshiba sign Memorandum of understanding

At the Regional postal logistics center Beograd, on behalf of Posta Srbije, head Milan Krkobabic and president of Toshiba corporation, Sadao Sekine signed Memorandum of understanding.

Two companies have been cooperating since 2013 on technical – technological project of automatic dispatch sorting where Posta Srbije invested app. EUR 13 m. Toshiba delivered machines for srting written dispatches of standard dimensions.

Modern machines through special system for reading recognize address of dispatches and direct them precisely to every post and postal area regardless of the fact if the address is written by hand or machine, in Cyrillic or Latin. New technological system can sort million parcels and to process in 90seconds what used to be processed manually in one hour.
