Srbijagas cuts expenditures by 10%

The Novi Sad gas giant may also end the year 2016 with a profit if it sticks to the plan. The Supervisory Board of Srbijagas has adopted the company's Business Plan for 2016, which is pending approval of the Government of the Republic of Serbia. This document gives a projection of anticipated business profit for this company for the second consecutive year as well as a 10% cut in overall expenditures.

According to the financial plan of Srbijagas, this former lossmaker will reduce seminar expenses and allocations to employees for rehabilitation and participation in trade fairs in 2016.

- Debt collection rate, which went up to 20% last year, is expected to continue to rise this year - said people at Srbijagas.

As they noted, the plan is also to increase overall volumes transported via the transportation system of the Srbijagas public company.
