The Belgrade Airport had over half a million passengers for the first time this September, which is an increase of 6% compared to last year. The increase in the number of take-offs and landings in this period amounts to 4%, the airport reported.

The Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport has been making absolute monthly records in the number of passengers for three months in a row.

The flow of goods in the first nine months of 2016 was significantly higher (by 16%) relative to the corresponding period of 2015.

The trend of increased regularity of airline traffic in all analyzed segments also continued. According to systematized data, in September, 87% of flights started on time, whereas the regularity in September 2015 amounted to 81.5%.

The percentage of late flights in September was 1.5%, which means it was halved relative to last year. The average lateness of 9.67 minutes was lowered to 6.93 minutes.

Since the beginning of 2016, the airport has served over 3.8 million passengers, which makes it realistic to expect that the number of five million passengers will be reached by the end of the year.
