Contest for eight directors of public enterprises opens

The Government of Serbia opened the contest for eight directors of public enterprises on February 10.

The public enterprises in question are Putevi Srbije, Koridori Srbije, Transnafta, Drzavna Lutrija, as well as national parks Djerdap, Fruska Gora, Tara and Kopaonik.

The requirements are for the candidate to have 240 ECTS points collected during the undergraduate studies, at least five years of working experience in jobs requiring higher education and at least three years of working experience in jobs connected to the public enterprise activities, knowledge of corporate management, working experience in work organization and job management, to not be a member of any political party's body, to not have been sentenced to jail time of six months and up and to not have been suspended in line with the law.

The application deadline period is 30 days from the date of the opening of the contest.

As stated in the invitation, the job entails presenting and representing the enterprise, organizing and running the working process, running the public enterprise's operations, being responsible for the legality of the enterprise's operations, proposing long-term and medium-term business strategy and development plans and being responsible for their execution, proposing annual and three-year business programs and being responsible for their execution, proposing financial reports, executing the decisions made by the supervisory board, appointing executive directors, appointing representatives of the public enterprise in the general assembly of a corporation solely owned by the public enterprise, signing employment contracts with executive directors in line with the law regulating employment, adopting systematization acts, performing other activities prescribed by law, the foundation act and the statute of the public enterprise.
