Danfoss celebrates 20 years in Serbia

The company Danfoss celebrates 20 years of operations in Serbia this year.

Danfoss is an international company headquartered in Denmark. It has existed for 80 years and is a leader in the field of energy efficiency. They have 25,300 employees in factories and sales companies throughout the world.

– The cooperation in Serbia dates back to the mid-20th century, when Danfoss products were available to customers in Yugoslavia. Products, as well as education and access to information about new technologies were made available to business people from former Yugoslavia who visited Denmark, attending conferences organized in Danfoss – the company's press release says.

The company's main goal is to raise the quality of life through activities in three areas – cooling, heating and electric motor systems. Danfoss is a leading global supplier of compressors and automatic devices in the cooling and air conditioning industry. The company also offers components and solutions for production, distribution and comfortable and ecologically optimal heating energy consumption. Since 1968, Danfoss has placed the greatest focus on the development of frequency transformers in its electric motor systems, enabling the control of the speed, momentum, acceleration, synchronization, positioning and other performances of AC motors, allowing for considerable energy savings.
