President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic said at the meeting with conductor Zubin Mehta that the new Belgrade Philharmonic building needed to be completed by 2020.

– Belgrade is a cosmopolitan city and it deserves an opera house which should become not just its own, but a symbol of the entire region – Vucic pointed out.

Mehta was visiting Belgrade on the occasion of his co-conducting the open-air concert of the Belgrade Philharmonic.
