Roberto Mancuso to run METRO in Serbia and Croatia

(Roberto Mancuso) Roberto Mancuso has been appointed Director General of METRO Cash & Carry Serbia and is also to keep his current position as Director General of METRO Cash & Carry Croatia.

As the company announced, from his expanded position, Mancuso and his teams will continue developing innovative solutions for entrepreneurs in the sectors of hospitality and trade in both countries, adapting them to the specific needs of these markets.

Roberto Mancuso started his career at METRO in 2001 in Italy, after which he worked in five countries on various positions, including more than four years spent as Director General of METRO Serbia before his appointment as Director General of METRO Croatia in July 2017.

While he was running METRO in Serbia, Roberto Mancuso successfully handled the transformation of METRO from a traditional cash & carry operation to the current multi-channel sale model. The delivery of goods meant for professionals (B2B clients) from five platforms at METRO facilities, is available to thousands of customers. It also entails a wide range of services meeting the demands of the growing Serbian market and is the foundation for the company's future development in Serbia.
