Balkans Property Forum on December 3 in Belgrade – New technologies and real estate

More than 150 real estate professionals will meet on December 3, 2019, at the Hilton Belgrade Hotel to participate in International Conference for Real Estate Market SEE “Balkans Property Forum 2019” and to discuss the challenges and trends that affecting the future of the real estate industry.

The conference is being organized for the third time in Belgrade by Property Forum in close collaboration with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), and the focus of this year's conference will be innovation, as new technologies are rapidly changing the rules of property business. The Conference will answer questions regarding the role of technology in real estate as the mission of the Property Forum and RICS is to prepare real estate professionals for future changes affecting the profession.

The conference program will provide a detailed economic overview and trends shaping the Southeastern European real estate market. International investors will consider investing in the markets of Serbia, Bulgaria, Croatia and Slovenia, and special attention will be paid to changes in Belgrade, the reasons for the increasing demand, but also the construction of modern offices and retail outlets. In the second part of the conference, individual panels will explain in detail the need for attractive working space, but also for hotels as a very important asset class for investors. Special discussion will be devoted to emerging markets in the region and why one should take risks and invest in the markets of North Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Participants of the conference will find out how attractive is Serbia to foreign investors at the moment and which investments will be most profitable in the coming period. Why are real estate prices in Belgrade constantly rising? How will Belgrade develop in the near future - does Belgrade need more real estate - office buildings, apartment blocks or shopping malls? How are new technologies changing the real estate market? What type of assets banks are looking to financing in 2020? How risky is the Balkans real estate market from their perspective? These are just of some the questions that will be answered at Balkans Property Forum 2019.
