Serbia and Hungary signed cooperation in the field of renewable hydrogen

Upon signing the document, Mihajlovic pointed out that, in the new energy laws, green hydrogen is recognized as a renewable source of energy and that the hydrogen strategy will be an integral part of Serbia's new energy development strategy.

- The signed memorandum is the basis for exchanging documents in this area and discussing potential joint projects. We are proud that we have already created the legal prerequisites for the use of hydrogen in Serbia, and I hope that in the upcoming period we will be able to present the advantages of this in a more concrete manner - she said.

Palkovics advised that the issues of availability, access and price of energy are key issues of the modern world, and that the issue of energy independence has been added to the list.

He said that the areas covered by the memorandum signed today include such important issues as the production, storage and transport of hydrogen, and that Hungary, which already has certain experience, is willing to share its strategies and regulations with Serbia, as well as investment plans and projects - the official website of the Government of Serbia reports.
