Belex15 Index Increases 1.7% Thanks to NIS Shares

The index of the most liquid shares Belex15, on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, increased last week 1.7% to 893.5 points, whereas the total realization on the market amounted to RSD 39.3 million, or EUR 0.3 million, announced the brokerage house Momentum Securities.

As said, this stopped a two-day descending trend in the local market, primarily thanks to the jump in the price of the shares of Naftna Industrija Srbije (NIS) by 6.1% to RSD 783, with a turnover of RSD 18.8 million. On the last trading day, NIS shares would reach the level of RSD 800. The company has announced that, on April 27, following the trading, they will announce quarterly results for the January-March period, which should show which level of profitability the company could maintain this year, following the record results in 2022.

The shares of Dunav Osiguranje recovered 1% to RSD 1,035, with a turnover of RSD 4.8 million. The information that the shareholders would not be left without the dividend this year had contributed to it, although the date for taking part in the distribution of last year’s profit had already passed.

The price of the shares of the Nikola Tesla Airport remained at RSD 1,900, with a realization of RSD 2.6 million. The company has announced that it will publish annual business results on April 26.

The shares of Jedinstvo from Sevojno dropped 1.3% to RSD 7,400, with a turnover of RSD 800,000. This company will also publish annual business results in two days, whereas quarterly results should be published by the end of the week.

The shares of Metalac from Gornji Milanovac also had a rising trend, but with a small turnover. Those securities jumped 1.8% to RSD 1,730, which was their highest value in almost a year.
