The airline Wizz Air has denied that it plans to reduce the number of flights from Belgrade to several European cities and stated that the changes in the flight schedules to those cities are only temporary, until new planes arrive.

- We are not planning on reducing the number of flights from Belgrade to Gothenburg, Paris-Bovais, Karlsruhe, Eindhoven and Barcelona. On the contrary, considering the previously announced increase of the fleet at the Belgrade hub by four planes in July, the number of flights on certain lines, such as Belgrade-Barcelona, will be increased - the company announcement states.

It is also stated that the changes in the flight schedule are temporary, until the new airplanes arrive, in order for the current Wizz Air capacities from Belgrade to include seasonal flights at the peak of the summer season, e.g. the flights to Heraklion and Zakynthos.

- We are monitoring the interest in holiday destinations this summer, as well as the constant demand for routes that are offered throughout the year - the Wizz Air statement concludes.
