Enhancing presentation skills for tour operators - Focus on attracting client interest



Presentation of tourist potential is the key to selling rounded package. In a ten-minute presentation, which only happens a few times a year, you have to attract the attention of investors and partners. In this series of articles aimed at tour operators, transfer advice from the Enterprise Development Project prepared by the USAID. Module 1: Taking care of client
The most important and first step in creating a tourism product is a good understanding of customer needs, thinking about them and what they wanted to hear.
Users of tourism services will be most satisfied when their needs are fully understood and met.
If you are talking with tour operators to present their presentation of tourist potential of Serbia, the distance of certain locations from the airport, get to know them with the linguistic skills of local personnel and provide them high quality services for the lowest price.
If, however, wage negotiations with the organizers of the conference, please be aware that they need access to good quality space, good catering, hotel accommodation for participants and affordable prices.
Finally, if you talk to foreign journalists, offer high-quality photos, detailed maps of individual tourist regions, transfer their experience of previous customers. Do not forget that they present an unusual places, local cuisine, with an emphasis on low prices and high quality services.
The potential clients and learn their needs using their web sites, presentations of their national tourist organizations, but try and get as much additional information from its own staff, which is often very experienced.

Module 3: Attracting interest
In introducing the service, the first impression is crucial. Start a good presentation of photography, effective sentence or quote the previous client can be an excellent choice.
If you present at the fair, make sure to always be very frequented, because that is what attracts new visitors. Think about what draws visitors, and, of course, always be polite, smiling and friendly.
