The Nis Constantine the Great Airport recorded a drop in the number of passengers by nearly a fifth in the first two months of this year, compared to the first two months of last year, as shown by the latest statistical data published on the official website of that airport. In January and February 2023, the airport in Nis was the destination for 58,434 passengers, and in January and February 2024, it had 47,580 passengers, which is 19% lower.

Observed by months, nearly the same drop was recorded in both January and February. In January, 26,391 passengers were recorded at the Constantine the Great Airport, which is a reduction of 18%, whereas in February, there were 26,198 passengers, which is 19% lower.

The official statistics show that, in the first two months, the number of planes that flew to and from Nis also dropped, by 12%. In January and February this year, there were 239 of them, and last year, there were 271.
