Chinese Ningbo Zhenyu Technology to open factory in Apatin – Investment of EUR 50 million over next four years and employment of 150 workers planned

The Chinese company Ningbo Zhenyu Technology co. ltd. is planning to open a factory in Apatin in which it will invest around EUR 50 million in the period between 2024 and 2028, and that only pertains to the construction, equipping and operations of the factory. The plan also includes the employment of 150 workers in the first phase and, in addition to that, the establishment of a special-purpose education program for the employees, the Municipality of Apatin announced.

The Chinese company intends to open a factory which will use the technologies of die-cutting, welding, assembling, casting under pressure and digital management to the end of producing car parts, such as rotors, stators etc.

The Memorandum of Understanding, which defines the principles and frameworks of cooperation between the Municipality of Apatin and the Chinese investor regarding the construction of the factory, was signed by the president of this Vojvodina municipality, Dubravka Korac, and the director of Ningbo Zhenyu Technology, Yiang Ning.

The signing of the memorandum was also attended by the ambassador of China, Li Ming.
