The budget bill for 2025 projects a growth rate of the gross domestic product (GDP) of 4.2%, which means that the annual GDP would amount to RSD 10,328.9 billion, that is, EUR 88.1 billion, announced the minister of finance of Serbia, Sinisa Mali, in an interview for the NIN weekly.

– We are returning to the high growth rates that we had before the coronavirus and the world economic crisis. In the first half of the year, with 4.2%, Serbia was the second fastest growing economy in Europe, and in the first nine months of this year, according to the currently available data, with a growth of 3.9%, it was first – said Mali.

As he added, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) agreed for the Serbian budget deficit to be 3% of the GDP next year.
