Government decides – Documents related to tragedy in Novi Sad to be made publicly available

The Government of Serbia decided that the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure make publicly available within the next 24 hours all documents at their disposal related to a possible commission of a criminal offense in the case of Novi Sad railway station canopy collapse, which took place on November 1, 2024.

The government also decided to increase the amount of funds for material costs of the institutions of higher education, determined by the 2025 Budget Law of the Republic of Serbia, by 20 percent in relation to the amount of funds determined by the 2024 Budget Law of the Republic of Serbia, the press release says.
