After December 8, which was “missed” without a mention, Vucic has once again made it public that it is not realistic for the first “Soko” train to start operating before February of next year. On TV Informer, the president of Serbia said that complications had occurred in that project and that “it is not realistic for the first (fast) train to start operating before February or March.” According to him, the problem is the inspection supervision, which has been ordered on all station buildings.
– We have to have railroads, life has to go on. We are looking for those responsible and those who are guilty of the tragedy in Novi Sad will be punished – Vucic said and added that “when everything is brought to a close, I will come by the first train and open this railroad section,” but said that February or March were realistic, and nothing before that.
– We have ordered inspection supervision for all station buildings, and now many details are being checked subsequently, the controllers are avoiding signing the acceptance for even the smallest things – pointed out Vucic.
