In first ten months of 2024 export of ICT products and services reaches value of EUR 3,342,000,000

According to the data of the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, the average salary of the employees in the ICT sector (programmers) in October 2024 amounted to RSD 282,200, said the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications, as announced by the Government of Serbia.

Of all the professions in the Republic of Serbia, computer programmers had by far the highest average monthly salaries in 2024. According to the latest statistical data, in the first ten months of 2024, the export of products and services in the field of information and telecommunications technologies reached the value of EUR 3,342,000,000, which is a 20% increase compared to the same period in the previously record-setting year of 2023.

Also, from 2012 until 2023, the income from the export of services and products within this industry increased 10 times, so in 2023 it amounted to EUR 3.44 billion, whereas, based on the current results, it is expected to reach EUR 4 billion in 2024.
