On the website expobelgrade2027.org, along with an interview with the director of the company EXPO 2027 Beograd, Dusan Borovcanin, new visual renders of this complex in Surcin have been published.

According to him, the event is expected to be visited by more than 4 million guests over three months.

– We expect more than 4 million visitors from over 120 countries and international organizations to come during the 93 days of the event and meet our country, tradition culture and our people. I am sure that, in addition to leaving with an unforgettable experience and a desire to visit us again as tourists, a range of new cooperations in various fields will be realized, especially in the industries of services, science and technological development – says Borovcanin.

Talking about the investments and the price of organizing the Specialized Exhibition, Borovcanin says that the EXPO in Belgrade is among the smaller investments relative to the previous events, more precisely, EUR 1.2 billion, but adds that the investment reflects “the great dedication to the heritage and use of this space for the period after 2027 as well.”

– Here, in the Surcin area, a new city will be raised, a new place for our Belgrade Fair, a new place for the development of skills and competences of young people in the fields of music, sports and innovations, a new museum complex which will be attractive not just to our citizens, but to tourists as well, and let me emphasize that, with the forming of these spatial capacities, we have made it possible to host various world events, which we haven’t been able to do so far, such as large international congresses, conferences, sports and entertainment events and so on – says Dusan Borovcanin.
