No interest in purchase of Vrsacka Pivara

The sale of the brewery Industrija piva i sokova Vrsacka Pivara in bankruptcy as a legal entity was unsuccessful, as there were no interested bidders, announced the Bankruptcy Supervision Agency.

The initial price at the public bidding, which was supposed to be held on January 31, was RSD 137.3 million.

The subject of the sale included the property of the brewery consisting of production halls, equipment, raw materials and packaging stock, as well as the share of 0.78% in the capital of “Pivara i sladara” d.o.o. Beograd and the shares in AD “Milenijum” in Vrsac with a nominal value of around RSD 26 million.

The Vrsac brewery is the oldest brewery in Serbia, it has been in bankruptcy since 2010, and there have been several unsuccessful attempts to sell its property so far.
