AIK Banka merged with Eurobank Direktna banka - From today they operate under the name AikBank

With this integration, AikBank has become a systemically important bank with capital of over EUR 800 million and occupies the third position on the market with total assets of EUR 6.4 billion, with a deposit base of EUR 4.9 billion and with a credit portfolio of EUR 3.7 billion, the Bank announced.

All these acquisitions, including the completion of the integration of Eurobank Direktna, which was acquired by AIK Banka in 2023 for EUR 280 million, have contributed to the consolidation of the banking market of Serbia, which has a total of 19 banks as of today. This further confirms Aik Bank's ambitions to be one of the leading players in the domestic banking sector, AIkBank states.

AikBank is a member of the regional AikGroup, including AikLeasing and MV Investment in Serbia, Gorenjska Bank and GB Leasing in Slovenia, and which is in the process of buying the majority stake of Hipotekarna banka in Montenegro.
