Serbia Zijin Mining Bor and Sino-Zijin Resources from Beijing founded a new company in Serbia at the end of last year
- Malka Golaja Mining d.o.o., which is registered in Zaječar.

According to the founding act adopted on December 6, Serbia Zijin Mining owns a 95% stake in the new company, while the company Sino-Zijin Resources from Beijing has the remaining 5%. The company's main activity will be the exploitation of ferrous, non-ferrous and precious metal ores.

The total basic capital of the company is 120,000 dinars, and the director of the company is Yongding Su, a citizen of China.

According to information from the official website, Sino-Zijin Resources operates as acenter for resource exploration, geological innovations and the development of international experts. The company was established in August 2020 with an initial capital of 520 million yuan. As part of Zijin Mining Group, Sino-Zijin Resources is a high-tech enterprise that has the ambition to become a world leader in geological exploration.

This company in Serbia bears the same name as the newly discovered copper and gold deposit Malko Golaj, which is located 7 km southeast of the Čukaru Peki mine. As eKapija already wrote, it was recently announced that a significant deposit of copper and gold was discovered at the Timok project. The Malka Golaja deposit contains an estimated 2.81 million tons of copper with an average content of 1.87% and 92 tons of gold with a content of 0.61 g/t.

These estimates refer to the total amount of metal in the ore mass, which amounts to approximately 150 million tons of mineralized material. In addition, investigations show that the deposit is open on the periphery, indicating further potential for resource expansion.
