From Friday, use of e-Gate at "Nikola Tesla" airport also possible for EU and Schengen citizens

The Border Police Administration announces that from midnight on Friday, April 4, 2025, the use of electronic gates (e-Gate) at the border crossing Surčin-Belgrade, at "Nikola Tesla" Belgrade airport, will be enabled, in addition to citizens of Serbia, to citizens of the European Union and the Schengen zone, which are on the Master List of ICAO PKD.

The use of electronic gates will be enabled for citizens of Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Italy, Ireland, Latvia, Luxembourg, Hungary, Germany, Norway, Romania, Slovakia, Finland, France, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Sweden, Spain, Switzerland, as well as citizens of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and citizens of the United States of America.

It is a system that will reduce the time required for passport control to a maximum of 12 to 15 seconds, Minister Ivica Dacic announced.
