Testing of static stability of station buildings at five stations of Novi Sad-Subotica fast railroad commissioned

The company Serbian Railways Infrastructure has opened the tender for the preparation of a study on the testing of the static stability of buildings on the Novi Sad-Subotica-state border (Kelebija) railroad section.

The studies are commissioned for five station buildings: at the rail stations Subotica, Backa Topola, Naumicevo, Zednik and Kisac.

The tendering documentation says that, in the past period, within the project of the modernization, reconstruction and construction of the Belgrade-Subotica-state border (Kelebija) railroad, Novi Sad-Subotica-state border (Kelebija) railroad section, works on the reconstruction of the existing station facilities at said stations have also been carried out.

– Considering that the competent building inspectors of the Ministry of Construction and Infrastructure, following the inspection supervision, issued orders to carry out a testing of the static stability of these facilities on the Novi Sad-Subotica-state border (Kelebija), which has not yet been handed over to the Investor in the project and opened for exploitation, it is necessary to, as soon as possible, prepare the Studies on the testing of the static stability of said facilities – the tender reads.

The majority of the buildings were raised at the end of the 19th century and are under state protection as cultural monuments.
