Mali: Precisely 100 countries confirm participation in EXPO 2027

Precisely 100 countries have so far confirmed participation in the International Specialized Exhibition EXPO 2027, announced the minister of finance of Serbia, Sinisa Mali.

– Just like we got the trust of countries from the whole world when we were selected to host this exhibition, now, in a record amount of time, as many as one hundred countries are announcing their arrival to Belgrade, where we will be the best hosts to them and present them our country in the best light – said Mali, as reported by Biznis Kurir.

Also, as he points out, the number of countries that will attend EXPO is expected continue growing at an accelerated pace, and already now, it is certain that we will exceed the number of countries-participants in the most recent Specialized Exhibition in Astana, Kazakhstan, which hosted 117 participants.

He also said that the preparations for this prestigious event were going in line with the planned dynamics:

– Hundreds of workers and machines are working every day at the construction site in Surcin, because everything has to be ready in slightly over a year and a half, until December 1, 2026, when we are to hand over the keys to the pavilions to the countries-participants.
