MRKONJIC: Belgrade-Banjaluka-Vienna service to begin soon

The long-announced Belgrade-Banjaluka-Vienna service is expected to begin very soon, Serbian Transportation Minister Milutin Mrkonjic told Tanjug news agency.
- Having completed the negotiations with companies from the UAE on the stabilization of the Serbian flag carrier Jat Airways, we are now in a position to know the timetable of the future airline for flights from Belgrade to Banjaluka and Vienna - Mrkonjic said after the fourth joint session of the governments of Serbia and the Republic of Srpska.
He noted that Belgrade-Vienna flights for business passengers would be operated in morning hours, whereas those for regular passengers flying to Belgrade, Banjaluka or Vienna would take place in the afternoon.
As Mrkonjic stressed, this agreement between the two governments is also accepted by the Serbian partner from the Emirates - Etihad, which is a good news for both Serbia and the Republic of Srpska.
