Zvezdara Science and Technology Park to open after 24 years - 14,000 sqm complex finally opens this autumn

Zvezdara Science and Technology Park should be opened this autumn after 24 years of construction. This 14,000 square meter complex will be intended for companies, incubators focused on top-priority technology projects and solutions that can bring recovery to the country's economy.

Construction of this park on the outskirts of the Zvezdarska Forest with five modular buildings, joint entrance hall, connecting facilities and gangways commenced 1989, but was quickly halted and then resumed in 2011, after a long break, using the proceeds of an EIB loan of about EUR 17 million.

An operating permit was issued in May. According to Assistant Education Minister Radomir Zikic, permits are now awaited from Fire Police .
