Lustica gets permit to build golf course in Tivat


The Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism has issued a building permit to the Lustica Development company for the construction of golf course in the tourist complex Lustica Bay.
This is also the first building permit issued for a golf course in Montenegro after the property relations pertaining to the land where the golf course is going to be built were resolved, said Lustica Development's spokesperson Ivana Uljarevic.
As she added, all preparation works in Lustica Bay are completed and the area is cleared for all 18 holes of the future golf course.
The golf course will be built on a surface area of 86 hectares and will be suitable for golf tournaments.
Construction of this playground is entrusted to the world-famous company Gary Player Design from the USA which has so far built over 325 golf courses in 35 countries world wide.
By the way, this company has so far invested in excess of EUR 35 million in the Lustica Bay project.
