No stopping of gas flow for Serbia from Azerbaijan after all

The president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, announced on Sunday that he had been notified from Baku that there would be no stopping of gas flow for Serbia.

– Our brothers and friends from Azerbaijan have just notified me that, regardless of the objective problems caused by force majeure, there will be no stopping of gas flow for Serbia. I cannot thank Azerbaijan and president Ilham Aliyev enough and I expect him in Belgrade soon with great impatience – president Aleksandar Vucic wrote on X.

Vucic said the day before that he had been notified from Azerbaijan that, in the next period, due to the problems they had, they would not be able to deliver 1.7 million cubic meters of gas a day every day.
