Mali: Deadlines are being honored, works on EXPO complex should be completed by December 1, 2026

The works at the construction site of the EXPO complex are going as planned and we are staying within the deadline of having everything completed by December 1, 2026, when we are supposed to hand over the “keys” to the EXPO, pointed out the minister of finance of Serbia, Sinisa Mali, who had a meeting at the construction site in Surcin, where EXPO will be held in 2027.

As Mali pointed out on his Instagram profile, the meetings are regular, “so that we could react on time and respond to all the challenges during the realization of this big project.”

– Considering that it is an enormous construction site, where, in addition to the space for EXPO, we are currently also building the National Football Stadium, a residential complex, all the accompanying line infrastructure, there are always open questions, but we are reacting on time and overcoming all the challenges – Mali assures.

He estimated that “EXPO will make a great contribution to the growth in the years ahead and a further strengthening of economic activities.”

– That is why this event is so significant and important for an ever better future of our country – said Mali.
