Cadez and Macut: Dialogue of corporate sector and state key to stable operations

The current economy topics and a dialogue of the corporate sector and the state were discussed at the meeting between the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia (CCIS), Marko Cadez, and the prime minister of Serbia, Djuro Macut.

As pointed out at the meeting, an efficient cooperation between the corporate sector, the government and the competent institutions is crucial to building stable conditions for doing business and improving the business and investment environment, according to the CCIS website.

Special focus was placed on the activities of the Center for Business Initiatives and quick solutions of the CCIS, which aim to solve the challenges that companies face in their everyday business activities and overcome administrative barriers.

The president of the CCIS presented the activities of the chamber which, as he pointed out, are based on three pillars: representing the interests of the corporate sector before the government and the institution and implementing companies’ initiatives, internationalizing business operations and supporting the boosting of exporting capacities, education and the digitization of the economy.

Cadez pointed to the advantages of dual education, which has been implemented in Serbia for over a decade, and within which, quality staff is being educated in cooperation with companies in line with the needs of the economy and modern business.

Macut emphasized the importance of the CCIS as a link between the state and the corporate sector. He announced an even more intensive cooperation of the Government of Serbia with the CCIS, “to the benefit of the state, the economy and the citizens of Serbia,” it is added.

He especially emphasized the importance of educating business people, which is an important segment of the chamber’s activities, for the purpose of improving the operations of the domestic economy. That, as he pointed out, is a common goal of the government and the CCIS, to which the Government of Serbia is fully dedicated.
